Can I take a banquet or wedding booking with advances?
Yes. A function is booked against a hall for a date and time, with the guaranteed number of guests, the rate per plate, hall rent and charges for decoration and sound. You set a payment schedule — on booking, a week before, on the day — and each advance is recorded against it. The function sheet prints for the kitchen and the floor.
What if fewer guests come than were guaranteed?
The bill is raised for the guaranteed number or the number who came, whichever is higher, which is how a banquet is normally contracted. The advances already taken are adjusted on the final bill.
Can I sell rooms with meals included?
Yes. A rate plan carries its meal plan — room only, with breakfast, half board or full board — and can be a rack rate, a package, or a rate negotiated with a company or a travel agent. Season and weekday rules adjust it for the nights they cover.
Does it connect to online travel agents automatically?
Bookings from online travel agents are entered with the channel, the agent’s reference and the commission, and reported by source. Automatic two-way sync of rooms and rates with those sites — a channel manager — is not included.
Can I send bills and offers to my customers on WhatsApp?
Yes, with the WhatsApp add-on. Bills go to the customer's WhatsApp as a PDF from the sale screen, and WhatsApp Offers sends a campaign — with a flyer Orbit designs from your logo and offer — to the customers who agreed to receive offers. Discounts, buy-one-get-one, coupons, gift vouchers, loyalty points and birthday offers are part of every shop licence.
Does Talvera Orbit work without an internet connection?
Yes. The Windows desktop app stores all your resort & banquet hall billing data locally in an SQLite database on your own PC, so billing, inventory, and reports keep working with no internet at all.

Can I run more than one billing counter?
Yes. Talvera Orbit runs up to 10 billing counters on a single local network — a Windows desktop as the master counter plus up to 9 more Windows PCs as counters. All counters share stock, customers, and sales data in real time. A multi-counter licence is required to run more than one counter.
How much does it cost?
