Software for Electronics & Appliance Distributors
Every handset and appliance leaves with its serial or IMEI on the invoice, so a warranty claim or a return is traced to the dealer and the bill it went out on — in seconds, not an afternoon.

What slows a electronics distributor down
And what Orbit does about it.
Which Serial Went Where?
A returned unit with no record of whom it was sold to is a dispute. Orbit requires the serial or IMEI on every sale of a tracked product.
High Value, Thin Margin
One unpaid bill wipes out a month's margin. Bill-wise receivables and ageing show exactly which dealer owes what, and since when.
Price Drops Mid-Month
Principal price changes land constantly. Versioned price lists change the rate going forward without touching orders you have already agreed.
Built for the way you distribute

Electronics Distributor software — FAQs
What electronics distributors ask us first.
Does it capture IMEI and serial numbers?
Yes. Mark a product as serial-tracked and Orbit will not complete a sale of it until the serial or IMEI is entered, so every unit you ship can be traced to its dealer and invoice.
What happens to open orders when the principal changes prices?
Editing a price list that dealers are already priced from saves a new version instead. Orders already agreed stay at the price agreed, and new orders take the new rate.
Can my dealers see my catalogue and order from it?
Dealers who run Orbit can link to you as a trading partner. You publish your catalogue to them, their purchase order arrives on your Orders screen, and your invoice arrives in their purchase entry.
Can I track what each dealer owes bill by bill?
Yes. Receivables are aged bill by bill, and each receipt is allocated to the invoices it pays, so a payment on account never makes an old bill look settled.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Orbit is a Windows desktop app that keeps your electronics distributor data in a database on your own PC, so invoicing, stock, dealer ledgers and reports keep working with no internet at all. Trading-partner documents queue up and go out when the connection returns.
Is there a free trial for distributors?
Yes — a 14-day trial of the full distributor app on one Windows PC, no credit card needed. Or book a demo and we will walk through it with your own dealers and products.
How is it priced?
Distribution is quoted per business rather than sold off a price list, because it depends on how many users, warehouses and branches you run. Book a demo and we will send a written quote for your electronics distributor business.
Can I sell to retailers who do not use Orbit?
Of course. Every dealer gets a normal GST invoice, printed or shared as a PDF. Retailers who do run Orbit can also link with you, so their orders arrive on your screen and your invoices land in their purchase entry.
