Software for Pharma Distributors & Stockists
Batch and expiry on every line, drug licence numbers on every chemist, near-expiry stock caught before it becomes a return — and a receivables report that says which chemist is seventy days overdue, bill by bill.

What slows a pharma distributor down
And what Orbit does about it.
Expiry Becomes Your Loss
Short-dated stock that is not moved first comes back as a return you cannot pass on. Orbit sells FIFO by batch and flags near-expiry stock while there is still time to push it.
Compliance on Every Bill
A chemist without a valid drug licence on file is a risk on every invoice. Dealer master holds the licence number and GSTIN, and the Schedule H register is a report, not a register book.
Outstanding Nobody Can Age
A ledger total does not say which bill is overdue. Orbit ages receivables bill by bill, allocates each receipt against the invoices it pays, and tracks cheques until they clear.

Pharma Distributor software — FAQs
What pharma distributors ask us first.
Does it track batch and expiry for every product?
Yes. Every purchase is received by batch with its expiry and MRP, every sale picks the batch it goes out of, and stock is sold first-in first-out by batch so short-dated stock leaves before fresh stock. A near-expiry report lists what needs to move while it still can.
Can I keep drug licence numbers for my chemists?
Yes. The dealer master holds each chemist's drug licence number alongside their GSTIN, credit terms and dealer category, so the details that belong on a pharma invoice are captured once, not typed each time.
Is there a Schedule H register?
Yes. Orbit produces the Schedule H register as a report for any period, straight from the invoices you have already raised.
Can I run trade schemes like 10+1 free?
Yes. Schemes and free goods are set up once and scoped by dealer category, and the free quantity is costed on the invoice, so your margin report shows what the scheme actually cost you.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Orbit is a Windows desktop app that keeps your pharma distributor data in a database on your own PC, so invoicing, stock, dealer ledgers and reports keep working with no internet at all. Trading-partner documents queue up and go out when the connection returns.
Is there a free trial for distributors?
Yes — a 14-day trial of the full distributor app on one Windows PC, no credit card needed. Or book a demo and we will walk through it with your own dealers and products.
How is it priced?
Distribution is quoted per business rather than sold off a price list, because it depends on how many users, warehouses and branches you run. Book a demo and we will send a written quote for your pharma distributor business.
Can I sell to retailers who do not use Orbit?
Of course. Every dealer gets a normal GST invoice, printed or shared as a PDF. Retailers who do run Orbit can also link with you, so their orders arrive on your screen and your invoices land in their purchase entry.
