Can I check in a walk-in guest quickly?
Yes. A walk-in is taken on one screen: the guest’s details and ID, the room, the rate and the advance. The room shows as occupied at once, and the registration card can be printed for the guest to sign.
Does it print the guest register the police ask for?
Yes. Each guest’s name, age, address, ID type and number, where they came from and where they are going are recorded at check-in, and the guest register prints for any date range. Foreign guests are tracked for Form C. A report also lists stays where the ID is still missing.
How is GST on room rent handled?
The room tariff slab is applied automatically from the nightly rate, so a room that falls under the lower slab and one that falls under the higher are each taxed correctly, and the invoice carries the SAC code. You can quote rates plus tax or inclusive of tax.
I do not run a restaurant. Is this still for me?
Yes. The restaurant side is there if you serve food, and can simply be left unused. Extras such as laundry, an extra bed or a meal sent to the room are posted to the guest’s folio as charges and appear on the same bill at check-out.
Can I send bills and offers to my customers on WhatsApp?
Yes, with the WhatsApp add-on. Bills go to the customer's WhatsApp as a PDF from the sale screen, and WhatsApp Offers sends a campaign — with a flyer Orbit designs from your logo and offer — to the customers who agreed to receive offers. Discounts, buy-one-get-one, coupons, gift vouchers, loyalty points and birthday offers are part of every shop licence.
Does Talvera Orbit work without an internet connection?
Yes. The Windows desktop app stores all your lodge & guest house billing data locally in an SQLite database on your own PC, so billing, inventory, and reports keep working with no internet at all.

Can I run more than one billing counter?
Yes. Talvera Orbit runs up to 10 billing counters on a single local network — a Windows desktop as the master counter plus up to 9 more Windows PCs as counters. All counters share stock, customers, and sales data in real time. A multi-counter licence is required to run more than one counter.
How much does it cost?
