How to choose grocery store billing software

Can I take home delivery orders?
Yes. Home delivery is a setting: switch it on and a bill can carry the delivery address and phone, and the orders going out appear on a Deliveries list until they are delivered.
Can I sell loose dal, rice and sugar by weight?
Yes. Mark an item as loose, and the Loose button on the billing screen prices it by the kilo or gram you weigh out, with the weight printed on the bill. A connected weighing scale can send the weight straight to the bill.
Can I send bills and offers to my customers on WhatsApp?
Yes, with the WhatsApp add-on. Bills go to the customer's WhatsApp as a PDF from the sale screen, and WhatsApp Offers sends a campaign — with a flyer Orbit designs from your logo and offer — to the customers who agreed to receive offers. Discounts, buy-one-get-one, coupons, gift vouchers, loyalty points and birthday offers are part of every shop licence.
Does Talvera Orbit work without an internet connection?
Yes. The Windows desktop app stores all your grocery store billing data locally in an SQLite database on your own PC, so billing, inventory, and reports keep working with no internet at all.

Can I run more than one billing counter?
Yes. Talvera Orbit runs up to 10 billing counters on a single local network — a Windows desktop as the master counter plus up to 9 more Windows PCs as counters. All counters share stock, customers, and sales data in real time. A multi-counter licence is required to run more than one counter.
How much does it cost?
